SITUATION AND MISSION: SIGINT indicates that the enemy is working on something big in Smugglers Cove. Messages are being exchanged between Sentinel cells regarding numerous prisoners being readied for transport off the island in exchange for a potential WMD, referred to by the codename PYRAMID. The intel trail suggests some kind of radiological dispersion device, but the enemy is being very cautious in the communications. Command is investigating the human trafficking aspect as well as the enigmatic weapon mentioned. For now, our top priority is to prevent the abduction of any more civilians and to apprehend HVT BADGER, the chief weapons specialist hiding at the Spanish Fortress with his close guard. ISR has been monitoring his movements for weeks, he has been on and off the radar, possibly due to an unconfirmed tunnel network in the AO. However, we now know for certain that he is at the fortress, presenting us with an opportunity to strike. Capturing him is essential for obtaining additional Intel regarding the deal he's negotiating and their intentions. (edited)

CONCEPT OF OPERATION: QRF RUBEDO will depart at 2030 via Little Bird from Erewhon, wearing lightweight black kits for minimal footprint and swift execution. We will conduct a fast infil at the LZ and patrol the coast to Alpha on foot. Civilian safety is paramount, so we are securing two compounds before capturing the HVT. However, it is essential that no radio alert gets sent; if BADGER is spooked, he will surely go off the radar again. (edited)

CHARLIE: Capture HVT BADGER at the fortress and bag all electronic devices.

️ Exercise extreme caution. Thermal imagery suggests the target is wearing an explosive S-VEST to evade capture. He will need to be apprehended using a hands-on approach, and an EOD specialist will be part of the team to handle that element. (edited)

Once BADGER is secured, radio in pilot and relocate to Safehouse ECHO 6. Hand off the HVT to Bravo Team (roleplay). Fireteam RUBEDO remains at the safehouse to promptly analyze the acquired Intel and report to HQ using the on-site station. The operation concludes at the safehouse. (edited)
